Nov. 6th - Nov. 12th 2017 Fishing Report
WHAT GUESTS WERE CATCHING
Wind and clouds can make it difficult to see the fish on the flats, but our guides are very qualified to find those areas that help you catch fish in all conditions. This week was no different as Emir put Greg on all three species and he got his grand slam. Greg and his wife Lynn traveled here from the UK with the anticipation of only landing bonefish but walked away with something entirely different.
Over twenty landed this week. The permit were especially kind to Phoenix as she landed ten permit while here with the Yellow Dog Women’s group. We look forward to seeing Camille and the rest of the crowd again soon.
The tarpon continues to challenge our anglers to a fight. Almost ten tarpon landed this week with some of the tarpon reaching eighty pounds. Conner and his Dad were here to land a few and were both successful with the hook-up. Conner landed two toward his quest. Whether fishing with bait or on the fly “the drug is in the tug”. Come and get it!
Lookdowns, snapper, jacks, barracuda, ladyfish and snook.
Congratulations to Greg Bate for his “Slam on fly”.
