Tres Pescado Slam Fishing Tournament 2012
The Tres Pescado committee has set the 2012 dates for the Fourth Annual Tres Pescado Slam Fly Fishing Tournament for August 16th, 17th and 18th, 2012.
Where
Ambergris Caye in Belize is surrounded by some of the best saltwater flats fly fishing in the world. Not only are the fish here, but the weather is often perfect for sight casting to the three grand slam species. This tournament also offers an excellent opportunity to bring the whole family to Belize to enjoy the other tournament activities as well as the great diving, snorkeling, Maya ruins and more.
Why
Our primary objective for hosting this tournament is to gather data on our local population of tarpon, permit and bonefish, as well as provide a great way to gather fly fishers from around the world to compete. All tournament proceeds will be donated to local charities to further the protection of the three grand slam species.
