Week In Review

Not many fishers this week to take advantage of great conditions and weather, but those that did had a great week.

What Guests were Catching

Bonefish

More than 200 bones were landed for the week, most were in the 2-4 pound range.

Permit

12 Permit were landed.

Tarpon

9 Tarpon were landed. The largest fish was about 80 pounds.

Other Species

Anglers landed some Jacks, Snapper, as well as big Barracuda.

Grand Slams

3 slams on the fly this week! Lee H and Mark H with Capt Roger and Clay W with Capt Kristian.

Flies That Worked

Bonefish:
Christmas Island Specials in gold, pearl and pink sizes 4 & 6, and Crazy Charlies in pink and orange.
Permit:
Mantis shrimp, rag head crabs and Flexo crabs.
Tarpon
White bunnies, chartreuse and black/purple bunnies are the flies of choice.
