Week In Review

The weather conditions were good. This week has been sunny and cloudy, great weather for catching some fish. We did catch a good number of Bonefish, But not a lot of permit and tarpon this week. We caught other species such as barracuda, jack, and snappers.

What Guests were Catching

Bonefish

More than 178 bones were landed for the week, most were in the 2-4 pound range.

Permit

7 Permit were landed.

Tarpon

Two Tarpon landed.

Other Species

One Snook, some Jacks, Snapper, and big Barracuda.

Grand Slams

One slam this week.

Flies That Worked

Bonefish:
Christmas Island Specials in gold, pearl, and pink sizes 4 & 6, and Crazy Charlies in pink and orange and shrimp patterns.
Permit:
Squmip rag head crabs, and strongarms crabs.
Tarpon
Toads, chartreuse, and black/purple bunnies are the flies of choice
Snook:
