About Our Island

Our Island exudes beauty, with white coral sand beaches lining the entire coastline. Right off the beach, the shallow water is a mosaic of seagrass beds and patches of sandy areas just waiting for you to sink your toes in! If you’re looking for a picturesque location, our crystal-clear water glimmers in the sunlight with infinite hues of blue.

About Belize

Belize is a small Central American nation located north of Honduras and south of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. With land mass roughly the size of New Jersey and a population of less than 300,000, Belize is one of the least populated countries in the region.

More than half of the country consists of subtropical jungles or rainforests. Belize officials have determined that preserving the nation’s vast natural resources is a priority. These measures have resulted in over 75% of the rainforest now under government protection. All this unspoiled wilderness has led to the growth of ecotourism, which is now the nation’s second-largest source of revenue.

The Belize rainforest is home to an incredible variety of wildlife including wild cats such as the elusive jaguar, tapir, crocodile, howler monkeys, armadillo, the keel-billed toucan, parrots, hummingbirds, heron, macaws, coati, and more. Belize is also home to some 4000 tropical flower species and over 250 varieties of orchids. Hundreds of bird species thrive within the nation’s forests and jungles where there are a number of sanctuaries managed by the Belize Audubon Society. If you’re looking for a stunning location to plan a getaway, you’ve found it in Belize.
