Enjoy a full day of fun on the Belize mainland! You’ll take a boat ride over and visit the amazing Belize Zoo. It was established in 1983 as a home for a collection of wild animals that had been used for documentary films. It sits on 29 acres of tropical savannah and now exhibits over 125 animals, all native to Belize. All animals are either rescued, confiscated from the illegal wildlife trade by law enforcement, or transferred from other rehab and zoological facilities. Next you’ll enjoy a Belizean lunch, then you’re off to an exciting ziplining adventure! You’ll traverse from one Tree Platform to another, all while dangling 80′ from the forest floor. There are 8 Tree Platforms in all.
