Week In Review

The weather has been quite difficult, with high winds gusting to the mid-20 mph range along with rainy and partly cloudy days. These conditions have made it challenging to spot permit and tarpon on the flats. As a result, our anglers have focused their efforts on schools of bonefish, while small tarpon and snook continue to be found in and around the mangroves.
 
Despite the poor weather, our guides were able to help anglers successfully catch juvenile tarpon and some small permit while fishing the schools of bonefish

White toads, chartreuse and black/purple toads and tarpon streamers are the flies of choice.
