Week In Review

It was a slow week with only a few boats out. Weather conditions were not the best, so our guides had to work a little harder to find fish, but at the end of each day, every angler returned happy to the lodge. Despite the conditions, the fishing turned out well:

  – Tarpon: Lots of tarpon were around, and several were landed.
  – Permit: Found in big schools, though they were not eating much. In the end, several landed, and some were lost.
  – Bonefish: Lots of bonefish were landed throughout the week.
  – Other Species: Many other species were caught, including tripletails, jacks, Cudas, etc.
