Week In Review
This past week, weather conditions were not the best, with some rain and dark clouds for a few days. Winds were at 5-15 kts coming from E-SE with light chopy. We didn’t have many anglers going fishing, but those who were out had a lot of fun catching fish. Despite the tough weather conditions, our guides managed to find lots of fish out there:
– Tarpon: Lots of tarpon were found every morning, with some anglers jumping a lot of them and landing a few, including some 80- to 90-pounders.
– Permit: Lots of permit were found in big schools; several were landed, and some broke off.
– Bonefish: Found everywhere as always, with lots landed and a couple of grand slams caught for the week.
– Other Species: Many other species were caught, including jacks, Cudas, snappers, etc.
