Week In Review
Last week brought some of the best fishing our anglers have experienced in a while, making for a highly successful and enjoyable trip for the entire group.
Here is a summary of the highlights from the reef:
– Permit: Numerous permit were landed, with large schools spotted daily.
– Tarpon: Several large tarpon were landed, and many others were jumped.
– Bonefish: High numbers of bonefish were caught, resulting in multiple grand slams.
– Other Species: Anglers also landed snapper, jack, and barracuda.

- Tarpon
- 15 Tarpon were landed.
- Bone Fish Flies
- Christmas Island Specials in gold, pearl, and pink sizes 4 & 6, and Crazy Charlies in pink and orange.
- Permit Flies
- Mantis shrimp, rag head crabs, and Flexo crabs.
- Tarpon Flies
- White toads, chartreuse and black/purple toads are the flies of choice.
