Week In Review
Weather conditions have not been the best for the past couple of weeks, but our guides have worked hard to put anglers on fish. Last week we experienced another north wind; tides were quite low, and the water was fairly choppy.
Despite these conditions, many bonefish were landed. While the permit proved to be quite challenging, a few were successfully caught. Tarpon were difficult to find, but some guests managed to land a few in the 50 to 60-pound range. We also had some larger tarpon, around 80 pounds, that were jumped but unfortunately got away. Additionally, some snook and various other species were landed, including barracuda, jack, and some cobia.
We look forward to seeing what the coming week brings
