Week In Review

We had a great week on the flats with a wonderful group of anglers who found excellent opportunities for tarpon, permit, and bonefish.

Here are the highlights from the past week:

  – Tarpon: Large numbers of migratory tarpon are around, and anglers had a great time casting at them. We had several jumps and landed a few 80- and 90-pounders, along with several juveniles.
  – Permit: Big schools of permit were found, and many were landed.
  – Bonefish: Schools were plentiful everywhere, resulting in three grand slams.
  – Other Species: Guests also caught jacks, barracudas, and snappers.
