Week In Review
We had a great week on the flats with nice weather conditions and winds coming from the East at 10-15 knots.
It was a very productive week for our anglers. Lots of bonefish were caught, and there were plenty of permit around; some guests landed permit in the 15–20-pound range, though there were also many break-offs.
It was also an excellent week for tarpon. Some boats headed out at 4:30 AM to look for migratory tarpon, and it paid off—several 80-90 pounders were landed. We are also proud to report a couple of Grand Slams this week. In addition to the main game fish, many other species were caught, including snook, jacks, barracuda, and plenty of snapper.
